Ideal Candidates for a Mommy Makeover
A mommy makeover is recommended for women who are in good overall health and at or near their ideal body weight. Candidates must no longer be breastfeeding and must have no pregnancy plans in the near future. Patients who are willing to follow the recovery directions as closely as possible are the best candidates for a mommy makeover.
Your Consultation
During your consultation with Dr. Michael Olding, you will discuss your goals and the body areas you are concerned about. He will perform a physical exam and evaluate your medical records, and the two of you will discuss the procedures to be included in your mommy makeover.
Dr. Olding will then create a personalized surgical plan. He will go over all the details with you and answer any questions you may have. Pre-operative instructions will be given to you to prepare for your surgery.
The Procedure
A mommy makeover will take several hours to complete, and some may even require two surgical sessions instead of a single session. General anesthesia will be administered, incisions will be created, and then the requested procedures will be performed. The incisions will be closed and bandaged at the end of the surgery.
Recovery Period
