Male Breast Reduction Washington, DC
A male breast reduction reduces enlarged breasts in men, or gynecomastia, using liposuction and/or removing excess glandular tissue. It provides a flatter, firmer and more masculine appearance to the chest.
The procedure is generally performed on an outpatient basis. Patients usually return to work within a week and to strenuous activity within three weeks. Swelling and bruising generally subside in three to six months. The results are permanent.
My experience with Dr. Olding and his staff was absolutely wonderful
My experience with Dr. Olding and his staff was absolutely wonderful. After several consultations with other plastic surgeons I settled on Dr. Olding because I believed he was the most qualified and showed the best judgment while explaining my procedure to me. He was also recommended to me by my trusted dermatologist so that factored into my decision as well.
Patients may experience temporary soreness, swelling, bruising, or a burning sensation. Potential complications include infection, bleeding, fluid retention, injury to the skin, rippling or bagginess of the skin, asymmetry, skin discoloration, or excessive scarring.
